Finance
The LKA Finance Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and operational efficiency of our school. Our team is dedicated to managing the budgeting process, allocating resources to support educational and administrative needs. We provide support to the Operations Team with all purchasing activities, ensuring that all acquisitions are made in compliance with school policies and procedures. We also manage reimbursements and accounts payable, ensuring payments are processed accurately and as promptly as possible. Additionally, we track and report on grant funds, ensuring that these resources are utilized effectively and in accordance with grant requirements. We support the school's mission by maintaining transparent, efficient, and responsible financial practices.

Human Resources
LKA’s HR department’s primary focus is on understanding and supporting the diverse needs of our school's staff and faculty. We are dedicated to managing and optimizing various HR processes to ensure a smooth and supportive work environment. Our team provides comprehensive assistance with benefits enrollment, available wellness programs, training, and other employee perks. The HR department oversees payroll, including maintaining the Paylocity system, managing employee records, and holiday schedules for all salary and hourly positions. We are always here to address any general questions and concerns or guide you to the appropriate member of the Leadership Team, providing personalized support to help resolve issues and enhance your overall work experience. Through these efforts, we aim to foster a positive and efficient work environment for all members of our school community.

The SPED department is proud of providing tailored support to ensure the success and well-being of every student with special needs. We are committed to student testing, conducting thorough assessments to identify individual learning needs and strengths. Through creating, updating, and maintaining Individualized Education Programs that comply with State and Federal regulations, we ensure each student's unique needs are met with precision. We also emphasize parent engagement, working closely with families to foster collaboration and communication, empowering them to be active partners in their child’s educational journey.

At Louisiana Key Academy, our mission is to provide an innovative and effective learning curriculum to children who have been diagnosed with dyslexia. In doing so, we align ourselves with a vision where all children are given the tools they need to thrive. We believe that dyslexics should be identified and given the education necessary to reach their full potential. LKA is here as a champion for dyslexics as they engage in an excellent and accessible education.
