To put our child first, was a decision we needed to make. Mabrie was having trouble following multi-step directions and her reading was not where it should have been. She would get really frustrated, confused, and her grades were dropping. My husband and I made the decision to change schools…Now, it is amazing to see her come home happy and ready to get up the next morning for school. Her attitude and grades have improved tremendously. In only about 4 months, Abigail has progressed in SO many areas on SO many levels! As a family, we all knew Abby was 'smart' so daily melt-downs and arguments about homework were totally out of the norm. After employing a couple of after school tutors (even one who was a SLP), reaching out to her Pediatrician for help, and also going to several ophthalmologist visits - we were at a loss. Our lives were forever changed after hearing about LKA, and I can only hope that other families find out about all of the wonderful aspects to attending LKA!
